Nuclear Medicine Technologist - ARRT or NMTCB
We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform nuclear medicine procedures, provide excellent patient care, and contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals as required, adhering to strict protocols
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring its proper functionality
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
- Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect both patients and staff
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities as directed
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes
Qualifications:
- Current certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) with a nuclear medicine specialization
- State licensure in Alabama as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
