Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification in the state of NY
• Master's degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited program, with a focus on family practice
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or family practice setting
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in primary care, including health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education
• Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to independently manage a diverse range of acute and chronic medical conditions across the lifespan
• Proficient in performing minor procedures, such as wound suturing, incision and drainage, and biopsies
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement in healthcare delivery
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
