Nurse Practitioner Pre-Anesthesia Clinic

This position provides key support to the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic. The importance of this Facility is to optimize patient health in preparation for an upcoming surgery or procedure. Interactions with patients may include both in-person evaluations, virtual encounters, and chart reviews. The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed, independent practitioner who is responsible for assessing and managing health problems

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains confidentiality, thinks and acts independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
• Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally and with the public
• Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

• Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges

EXPERIENCE

• Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privileges
• Experience with both general medicine (e.g., Family Medicine) and surgery desirable
