Performing radiographic examinations, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and fluoroscopies, as directed by physicians.
Preparing and positioning patients for procedures to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
Operating and maintaining imaging equipment in adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image interpretation and timely reporting of findings.
Assisting in the development and implementation of patient care plans that involve imaging procedures.
Documenting patient information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with medical and legal regulations.
Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance departmental operations.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
Strong understanding of radiology procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients of diverse backgrounds.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on departmental needs.
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
