Ultrasound Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality ultrasound scans in various areas, including abdominal, vascular, obstetrics, gynecology, and echocardiography.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
• Position patients correctly to obtain the best images and recordings.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, and record findings.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and provide compassionate care throughout the examination process.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized ultrasound registry (ARDMS, ARRT, etc.).
• State licensure, if required by your location.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, equipment, and technology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to patient care and safety.
• Flexibility to work in various clinical settings.
